Story Behind the Name: Originally, Buzz's show name was to be "Aquarius
to Infinity and Beyond," a nod to "Buzz Lightyear" from Disney's animated movie,
Toy Story. The current show name covers the co-breeders' kennel names,
"Aquarius" and "Delight," while "Centercourt" comes from Sneider's love of
tennis. But "Buzz" seems to sum up this lab's personality overall according to
Sneider. "He's a real people dog and enjoys life no matter what."
Favorite Pastime: Playing, whether with his mom, a ball or his handler.
"He's just funny," Sneider says. "Buzz is the dog that, without fail, knocks
over the photographer's sign when it is time to get his picture taken at the end
of the show."
What People Are Saying: Most judges comment on his condition and
athleticism, Sneider says. While most Labs can be fat and flabby, Buzz is
well-muscled. Sneider says judges also seem to like his attitude. "He looks like
he's having a blast in the ring."
